I've been feeling a little creative lately, it must have something to do with new year, new chapter and new adventures. This painting is of a skyline of joburg and the mediums used here are drawing pens, watercolors and copic markers! Let me know what you think?

its been a frustrating few weeks but never the less i am still positive and optimistic about the year ahead. this week hasnt been all that bad but i do feel it could have been better. lets just say that we do have an effect on the situations we're in and if we choose to be negative it will be a negative situation and if we choose to be positive the situation could get better.

so here's to a better weekend and an even better week ahead!

While i absolutely appreciate having a few rainy days, i have to admit that it is starting to feel like the Southern part of Africa has become very European and as much as i love Europe ( i adore Europe) i would love too see that yellow thing called the sun. I mean this is Africa after all!

Heres a bit of South African Flavour. Anyone heard of Locnville? These Twin brothers are making huge waves in the country and have a big following already, their song, "Sun in my Pocket" has South Africans hooked!

Im a bit of a freak when it comes to these wonderful objects known as the camera. I especially love the drawings of the polaroid cameras just because it reminds me of the good times, not necessarily my good times but a memory catcher (you know like a sun catcher?) it will capture the good times and capture moments that will never happen again! Thats why i love those things and Hey, i did use one when i spent a few weeks over seas and man those memories will last forever. So this year i am honoring the memory catcher and my future blog posts will have some sort of link to this object why, because it lives in my everyday life and im not about to let it go unnoticed!
